The Shop

Here at Holtwood Community farm we only sell produce that we grow and rear on site. It is sold through our shop, in the garden area at the entrance to the farm. We sell eggs, fruit, wegetables, plants and meat which has all been produced here in Holtwood.

Because we only sell what we can produce on site, vegetable and plant sales are seasonal, please see below for more information.

For veg, plant and egg sales we have an honesty box in the shop and we ask customers to pay with cash. For meat sales, we are generally at the farm Monday- Saturday 9am - 3:00pm and payment can be made by cash, card or bank transfer.

We are sorry but for the safety of those that visit our day opportunity at the farm, access is restricted to the shop area only and getting close to the animals is not possible.

Eggs

We sell chicken eggs all year round from our free range birds and duck, goose and batnam eggs when available (generally spring and summer). Eggs are stocked in the shop daily and can be purchased by putting cash into our honesty box. For larger quantities we can also take payment by card if required. 

We sometimes run out of eggs in the cabin, but will generally have more, so if you visit and we are out of stock please see a member of staff or call 07585418829.

 

Fruit & Vegetables

We sell a large array of seasonal fruit & vegetables, all grown here on the farm without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides. During the peak growing season we try to stock the shop Monday - Saturday with a selection of produce. 

Please note that we do not buy in any produce, as such we cannot guarantee what will be ready to harvest on a particular day. 

 

Meat - Pork & Lamb

We sell fresh Pork all year round and lamb seasonally (we only have a small flock of sheep), all of our animals are reared here on the farm, outdoors, and with the best welfare possible. 

Fresh pork is generally for sale every other friday & saturday at the farm, either for collection or local delivery. Quantities are limited so we recommend ordering, either by calling 07585 418829 or making an enquiry on the contact page. We normally also have some to buy on the day, so feel free to call in and see what we have available. 

We generally have a selection of frozen pork cuts & sausages available all week, please pop in and see a member of staff (Mon - Sat) or call 07585 418829 to order.
